Welcome to Catholic Confession Journal (“CCJ,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using CCJ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use CCJ.
- If you are under 18, you must have parental/guardian consent.
- By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
2. Purpose of the App
CCJ is designed to help Catholics prepare for, track, and reflect on confessions. It is a personal journaling and spiritual reflection tool.
- CCJ is not a substitute for the sacrament of confession or pastoral guidance.
- AI-generated summaries, insights, and scripture suggestions are provided for support only and should not be interpreted as doctrinal authority.
3. Account Registration & Security
- You may sign up with email/password, Google OAuth, or biometrics.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account use.
